About the data
79 machines, every one linked to its sources. 65 come straight from the manufacturer’s own spec sheet; the rest from authorized dealers reproducing it.
Where the numbers come from
We read each manufacturer’s published specification sheet or product page. When a maker’s site cannot be read, we use an authorized dealer’s copy of the same sheet and label the page “from authorized dealer listings”. We never estimate a weight.
When sources disagree
Spec sheets change between model years, regions and configurations. If two reliable sources disagree, we show both as a range and explain the difference on the page. Values we could not confirm are left out rather than guessed.
Operating weight, shipping weight and the serial plate
Operating weight includes fuel, fluids, a standard bucket and an operator. Shipping weight is lower; working weight with a thumb, coupler or breaker is higher. Before you load a trailer or drive onto a slab, read the weight on the machine’s serial plate.
